It turns out you can easily access the filesystem with SMB/CIFS.

1. Go to Settings-\>Storage & Sharing and turn on Wi-Fi Sharing.
2. Press the Network Identification button, and note the Tablet Network Name and Username.

In OpenBSD

1. Install ‘sharity-light’ with pkg_add
2. shlight //\<Tablet Network Name\>/media /mnt -U \<Username\>
